About us
We are a dedicated community movement committed to preserving the natural beauty of West Lothian. Through collective action, local awareness, and regular clean-up events, we empower residents to take pride in their environment and make a lasting global impact through local effort.
West Lothian Litter Pickers (WLLP) is a community of over 4,200 people who care about keeping West Lothian clean, green and litter-free. We're a friendly and encouraging bunch, and whether you pick on your own street, join one of our group cleanups, or simply want to cheer others on, you're very welcome here.
We organise regular group picks across the county, support individuals and neighbourhood pickers, and can help you get started with kit, hi-vis and bags. Since we began, our members have lifted well over 100,000 bags of rubbish from West Lothian's parks, paths, verges and open spaces — proof of what a community can achieve together.
We work closely with West Lothian Council and Keep Scotland Beautiful, and we believe in the simple idea that small local actions add up to a real difference. Act Local, Think Global.
